Day-by-Day 5-Day Tanzania Safari
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu
After breakfast, depart Arusha for the scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its ancient baobab trees, seasonal wetlands and the Tarangire River, the park offers some of the best elephant viewing in Northern Tanzania.
Enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the park's diverse landscapes while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes and a wide variety of bird species. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the park before continuing with your afternoon wildlife exploration.
Later in the afternoon, leave Tarangire and drive through the beautiful Great Rift Valley landscapes towards Karatu. Arrive at your lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands area for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Karatu – Central Serengeti National Park
