Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be warmly welcomed by your Safaris Mate representative and transferred to your luxury hotel in Arusha. Settle in, relax after your journey, and enjoy a welcome dinner followed by a safari briefing introducing the exciting adventure ahead.

Day 1: Arusha → Tarangire National Park → Karatu
After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania's hidden gems renowned for its giant baobab trees and impressive elephant population. Enjoy a full-day game drive through diverse habitats where you may encounter lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, impalas and numerous bird species.
