Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha | Arusha City & Lake Duluti

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to Arusha. After checking in at your accommodation, take some time to relax and refresh after your journey.

Depending on your arrival time, explore Arusha City before continuing to the peaceful Lake Duluti area, where lush vegetation, birds, and natural surroundings offer your first photographic opportunities in Tanzania. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park Photography Safari

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania's most rewarding destinations for wildlife photography. The park is famous for its ancient baobab trees, dramatic savannah landscapes, and impressive elephant populations that gather in large herds during the dry season.

Enjoy an extended game drive along the Tarangire River and surrounding wildlife-rich areas, with opportunities to photograph elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes, and numerous bird species. Your private safari vehicle allows greater flexibility to spend more time at interesting wildlife sightings and photographic locations.

Day 3 – Full-Day Photography Safari in Tarangire | Silale Swamp Exploration

Spend another exciting day exploring the diverse landscapes and wildlife habitats of Tarangire National Park. A second day in the park provides more time for wildlife photography and allows you to explore beyond the commonly visited areas.

Today's game drive focuses on the Silale Swamp and the southern areas of Tarangire. This vast wetland attracts a remarkable variety of wildlife — elephants, buffaloes, waterbirds, storks, herons, and predators — against beautiful natural landscapes that are ideal for photography. Your guide will take time at productive wildlife sightings, allowing you to observe animal behavior and capture memorable photographs without unnecessary rushing.

After your game drive, continue to the Karatu area for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 – Karatu to Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart from Karatu and travel through the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Enjoy photography and wildlife viewing along the way as the landscape opens into the vast plains of the Serengeti.

Continue toward Central Serengeti, particularly the Seronera region, renowned for its excellent year-round wildlife and high concentration of predators. Enjoy an afternoon game drive with opportunities to photograph lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and numerous plains animals against the iconic Serengeti landscape.

Days 5, 6, 7 & 8 – Extended Photography Safari in Serengeti National Park

Spend four unforgettable days dedicated to wildlife exploration and photography in the magnificent Serengeti National Park — the core of this 10 Days Luxury Photography Tanzania Safari.

The Serengeti transforms through the seasons. During the green season, the landscapes are lush and dramatic, wildlife is abundant, and fewer safari vehicles provide a more relaxed experience at wildlife sightings. Depending on natural herd movements, there may also be opportunities to photograph concentrations of wildebeest and zebras associated with the Great Migration.

Your photography safari will explore the renowned Seronera Valley and other wildlife-rich areas. This region is famous for resident populations of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and numerous other species. Early-morning game drives offer beautiful golden light and active wildlife, while late-afternoon drives provide warm light and opportunities for dramatic landscape and wildlife photography.

With four days available, your safari is fully adapted to wildlife movements and photographic conditions. Your private safari vehicle provides the flexibility to spend more time at exceptional sightings, wait for interesting animal behavior, and explore different habitats according to daily wildlife movements and light quality.

Day 9 – Ngorongoro Crater Photography Safari

After an early breakfast, depart from the Serengeti and drive toward the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend approximately 600 metres into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable wildlife and photography experience.

The crater supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife within a dramatic volcanic landscape. During your game drive, you may have opportunities to photograph lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeest, flamingos, and, with some luck, the rare black rhino. The crater walls and lake create a stunning natural backdrop for wildlife photography.

Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before continuing your game drive. In the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and proceed to the Karatu area for dinner and overnight.

Day 10 – Chemka Hot Springs & Departure

After breakfast, depart from Karatu and travel toward Chemka Hot Springs, a beautiful natural oasis surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. Spend time relaxing and swimming in the clear natural spring waters. The dense canopy, verdant surroundings, and crystal-clear pools offer a unique and peaceful setting for final nature photography before your departure from Tanzania.

Later, your driver will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in time for your onward flight, bringing your 10 Days Luxury Photography Tanzania Safari to a memorable end.
